CHROMIDROSIS

(Lat.), n. f. Krom(ch2rom)-i2d-ros'i2s. Gen., chromidros'eos (-is). From xpM^a. color, and ifipuo-is, perspiration. Fr., chromidrose. Ger., Chromidrose. It., cromidrosi. Sp.,cromidrosis. Syn.: ephidrosis tinct a. A condition in which the perspiration is colored. The phenomenon is limited to a part of the body, generally on the face and especially the eyelids, and the color is commonly dark-blue or blackish, but in some instances brown, yellow, or red.
