(grin-def-le-ali) [after H. Grindel, a German botanist]. The leaves and flowering tops of G. robusta, wild sunflower, or gum-plant, and G. squarrosa. G., Ext., Fid. Dose f 5 -f 3 j (2.0-4.0). It is used in asthma, bronchitis, and whooping-cough, and locally in rhus-poisoning. 301
