In Weaving, the longitudinal threads of a woven fabric; they are cro ed by the transverse threads, or woof. Warp, in Naval affairs, signifies a rope laid out for the purpose of moving the ship. To warp is to move a ship from one position to another by means of warps. [s. 1328]
