(ar-te-re-o-re'-nal). Pertaining to the renal blood-ve els. A. Disease, a pathologic condition of middle life characterized by an early stage of renal cirrhosis due primarily to vascular lesions. Its symptoms are mainly high vascular tension, albuminuria, and tendency to apoplectic seizures.
