(re’-nal) [ren, kidney]. Pertaining to the kidney. R. Calculus, a concretion in the kidney. R. Inadequacy, the condition in which the amount of urinary solids, and often the quantity of urine itself, is considerably diminished. It is probably due to an exhausted condition of the epithelial cells of the kidney. 553
