(wast). Any ultimate product of katabolisra; lo by reason of disease, inanition, or over-use. W. and Garbage. See Sewage . W. Silk, that which proceeds from perforated and double cocoons, and such as are soiled in steaming or in any other way. This wa-te silk is washed, boiled with soap, and dried. When carded and spun like cotton it yields the so-called flurt-silk.
