A paddle-wheel-engine, and a modified form of the „ Side-lever-engine. ” It has only a one armed lever; one end working on a support, to which it is pivoted, the other end being 7 grasped by a rod descending from the piston-rod-cro head, to which the upper end is secured; near this end of the lever the lower end of the connecting-rod is attached, its upper end being coupled to the crank of the shaft.
