(kon-den’ser). 1. A ve el or apparatus for condensing gases or vapors. 2. A device for illuminating microscopic objects. Abbé6’sc., an attachment to a microscope consisting of a mirror and a series of wide-angled, achromatic lenses placed beneath the stage to give strong illumination.
