Five Nations

The five tribes of Red Indians who formerly ranged the east coast of America, along the Hudson, and as far south as the Delaware. They were always on the English side in the wars with France. They were the Mohawks, Oneidas, On on dag as, Cayugas and Senecas. The remnants of these tribes are now domiciled in Canada.
