The oleoresin of Copaifera officinal is, C.coriacea, C. guiauensis, C. multi juga, C. cord i folia, C. lax a, C. nitid a, C. oblong i folia, and C. langsdorffii, leguminous trees, native to South America. It is a stimulant, diuretic, diaphoretic, and an expectorant, and is much used in gonorrhea. C, Ma a, copaiba 94, magnesia 6 parts. Dose gr. X-3J (0.65-4.0).
