Pittsburg

Dec. 8, 1839. He was educated at Heidelberg Univ. and the Ren elaer Polytechnic Institute; became a railroad rodman in 1861, and rose through succe ive positions to president of the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. in 1899. He died Dec. 28, 1906.
