Almanac

awl -ma-nak, or al -ma-nak, s. a register beforehand of the days of the year, with the changes, festivals, ., to happen in them. Nautical almanac, a register of astronomical observations calculated forbears beforehand, from which the sailor may at any point determine his longitude (Ar. al, and man ah, reckoning).
