Arrow-headed

ar'-ro-hed'-ed, a. shaped like the head of an arrow. Arrow-headed characters, certain characters, called also cuneiform or wedge-shaped, from their resemblance to a wedge, composing inscriptions found on bricks, rocks, and monuments at Babylon, Perse polis, Nineveh, and other ancient ruined cities of the East.
