Robert (son of Robert Francis Pate of Wisbeach, sheriff of Cambs. 1848). Cornet 10 hu ars 5 Feb. 1841, lieut. 22 July 1842, sold out March 1846; struck the Queen on the head with his cane, outside Cambridge house, 94 Piccadilly 27 May 1850, sentenced at central criminal court to 7 years’ transportation 11 July 1850; resided Hobart Town, Tasmania. d.
