[Same der iv.] (Bot.) A term designating the divisions of a calyx when they arch inwards; converging.-(Anat.) C. valves are the valvular folds of the lining membrane of canals, which are so disposed as to retard, while at the same time they permit (connive at), the pa age of the contents of such canals.
