Chart

A map representing some portion of sea and land with the contour of coast, islands etc., it is drawn to scale and marked with degrees of Latitude and Longitude; showing usually the depth of water, direction of local currents etc., for the guidance of mariners. They are distinguished as Coast-Charts, North-Sea-Chart, North-Atlantic-Chart, South-Atlantic-Chart, etc.
