Bartholomew

Edward Sheffield, an American sculptor, born at Col chester, Conn., in 1822; studied in New York and in Rome, where he lived during the latter part of his life. Among his works are “ Blind Homer, Led by His Daughter,” ‘“ Eve,’ “Youth and Old Age,” ete. He died in Naples, May 2, 1858.
