(ni-tro-glis'er-in). Glonoin, glyceryl trinitrate, C3Hj(N03)3, a yellowish oily fluid formed by the action of sulphuric and nitric acids on glycerin: employed as a vasodilator in doses of gr. j^tttV (0.0003-0.0013); the official preparation is the spiriius glyceryiis nitratis.
