Globulin

(glob’-u-lin) [globtdus, a little ball]. I. A general name for various proteids comprising globulin, vitellin, para globulin, or serum globulin, fibrinogen, myosin, and globin, which differ from the albumins in not being soluble in water, but soluble in dilute neutral saline solutions.
