(Lat.), n. f. Mead-u3l(u4l)"lo(lo)- a3rth-ri(re)'tias. Gen., -it'idos (-idis). From medulla, marrow, and apSpov, a joint (see also -it is*). An inflammation of the pink marrow in the cancellated ends of the long bones that proceeds to disintegration of the structures of the articulation. [J. G.
