The art of covering copper and other metals with silver or gold: it is effected in various ways. Sometimes the silver is attached to and rolled out with the copper by pre ure; sometimes the one metal is precipitated from its solutions upon the other; and of late manufacturers have availed themselves of electro-chemical decomposition for the purpose.
