(ik’’ter-o-an-e’me-ah). A disease marked by the development of icterus and anemia, with splenic enlargement, urobilin uri a, and a hemolysis a ociated with fragility of the red blood corpuscles. Called also hemolytic ictero-anemia and W idal’s syndrome.
