The juice of the lemon. It is used as an anti-scorbutic, but has been to a great extent superseded by lime-juice. It is rather opaque, and of an extremely sour taste, owing to the presence of citric and malic acids. lemon-kali, s. An effervescing drink, prepared by mixing lemon-juice with di olved bicarbonate of potash.
