Epiphora

(e-pif'o-rah.) [Gr., literally, a laying upon.] (Rhet.) An emphatic repetition of a word, or a series of words, at the end of several sentences or stanzas. -(Med.) A morbid defluxion of the eyes, caused by a superabundant secretion of tears. [s. 335]
