Dahlmann

Fried rich Chris toph, a German historian; born in Wismar, May 13, 1785; was profes- ‘gor at Gottingen and afterward at Bonn. Among his principal works is a history of the English Revolution. He died in Bonn, Dec. 5, 1860.
