(hab’-it) [habere, to have]. I. The general condition or appearance of an individual, as a full habit, a condition of plethora indicated by congestion of the superficial ve els and obesity. 2. The tendency to repeat an action or condition. H. -spasm, or habit-chorea, a spasmodic, constantly recurring movement of certain voluntary muscles, usually seen in children. 303
