n. Re2st. Of Royce, an epithelial formation arising either early during the development of the embryo or from accident in later life, and apparently left over in the formation of a part or organ. Such are the para dental epithelial nests in the bed of the teeth, the remains of the cranio-pharyngeal. lingual, and neural canals, the urachus, the Wolffian ducts, and Mailer's ducts.
