(ki'vah,) a town of Central Asia, C. of an independent khan at of Turkestan. It stands in a fertile plain, near the Oxus, in Lat. 41° 40′ N., Lon. 60° 13′ E. In 1873, a part of the khan at of K. was annexed to Ru ia. Pop. (1877) est. 25,000. [s. 515]
