Goslarite

( Min. ) A rare native sulphate of zinc or white vitriol. It is formed by the decomposition of blende, and is found in the pa ages of mines. Lustre vitreous. Color white, reddish, bluish. Sp.gr. 2-036. Comp. Sulph. acid 27-9, oxide of zinc 28-2, water 43-9. Gosling, n. [A.
