(he-pat'ik.) [From Gr. he par, the liver.] (Med.) Pertaining or relating to the liver.- H. ARTERY is the artery which nourishes the substance of the liver. - H. DUCT is the trunk of the biliary pores. It runs from the sinus of the liver towards the duodenum, and is joined by the cystic duct. [s. 450]
