[A, 301.] E. crible. A sieve-like appearance of the cut surface of the brain found sometimes at autopsies. It is due to numberle openings, some as large as a pin's head, dependent on enlargement of small ve els or, more frequently, dilatation of the cir cum vascular lymph-sheaths.
