(sup-oz’it-o-re), pl. suppos’itoria [L. supposito'rium). An easily fusible medicated ma to be introduced into the vagina, rectum, or urethra. Suppositories are usually prepared from oil of theobroma, except those intended for the urethra, which are made with glycerin.
