(fun’dus) [L.]. The base or part of a hollow organ remotest from its mouth. f. mea’tus acus’tic i inter’ni, the fundus of the internal auditory meatus. f. oc’uli, the posterior part or base of the eye, within its coats. f. tigré (te gra’), leopard retina. See under retina. f. tym’- pan i, the floor of the tympanic cavity. f. u’teri, that part of the uterus which is most remote from theos. f. ventric’uli, the cardiac portion of the stomach. f. vesi’cs, the basfond of the urinary ler.
