Ground Rent

Rent reserved to the grantor in fee of land. In Pa. it is an estate in the land remaining in the grantor; by a modern statute it cannot be irredeemable. In Ind. it is rent reserved on a long-time lease, as for 99 years. Also rent paid for building sites, the owner only reserving the right to the perpetual rent.
