[Fr.] An ornamental head-dre fora king or queen. Nobles wear coronets, the pope a triple crown or tiara. The crown of England is a circle of gold with cro es, fleur-de-lis, and imperial arches, enclosing a velvet cap, and set in diamonds and precious stones.
