Acrodynia

(ak-ro-din’-e-ah) [d/cpoc, an extremity; bdvvT], pain]. Epidemic erythema; a disease closely allied to pellagra. It is characterized principally by pricking pains in the palm and soles, hyperesthesia followed by anesthesia of these parts, and an erythematous eruption preceded by bullae, chiefly on the hands and feet.
