ta'lez, n. (Law.) A supply of persons from those in or about the court-house to make up any deficiency in the number of jurors regularly summoned, being like, or such, as the latter. [L., pi. of talis, such.] — Talesman, talz'man, n. pi. -men. A Eerson called to make up the deficiency in the numer of jurors when a tales awarded.
