Game Laws

laws relating to the killing of certain wild animals pursued for sport, and called game. In the United States the chief restrictions are in regard to killing wild animals during the breeding season. Formerly in Great Britain certain qualifications of rank or property were needed to constitute the right to kill game; but by the Game Act of William IV. the nece ity for any qualification except the po e ion of a game certificate was abolished.
