S. the right to kill game is limited in some States by Close Seasons, when hunting and trapping are prohibited, and generally by the nece ity to avoid trespa ing. In Great Britain these laws tend to secure to the landed cla a monopoly of killing game; in the U. S. their object is twofold, to prevent the extinction of game, and to give all hunters equal rights.
