An early and common name given to the English broadsword, t Fragmentation. — The bursting and scattering of the fragments of a shell, bomb or grenade in consequence of the firing and explosion of the contained explosives. Fragmentation is mora or le perfect according to the uniformity in size and the number of the fragments.
