Stewart

(John), commonly called Walking Stewart, b. London before 1750. Was sent out in 1763 as a writer to Madras. He walked through India, Africa, and America. He was a Materialist. Died in London, 20 Feb. 1822. “ Stirner (Max).” See Schmidt (Kaspar) .
