(ar’bu-tin) [L. Ar’but us, q.v.]. A crystalline diuretic glucosid, C,,HyO,,+H.O, from <Ar’- but us u’va-ur'si and other ericaceous plants. Dose, 5-15 gr. (0.3-1 gm.).
