Gastritis

Inflammation of the mucous membrane of the stomach, with lo of appetite, coated tongue, nausea, vomiting, pain, and fever; in chronic cases indigestion, distre after eating, and emaciation are the most marked symptoms. Abstinence from indigestible food, bitter tonics, mineral acids and pepsin usually effect a cure.
