Tokay

(to-ka',) a kind of wine produced at Tokay in Hungary, made of white grapes. It is distinguished by its aromatic taste; is not considered good till it is three years old, and it continues to improve as long as it is kept. It is the only wine which is drunk by preference in the turbid state. [s. 899]
