In Geography, a part of the great ocean. See Ocean Tidks. Sea. The term used by sailors for a single wave, or for genera agitation. In a long sea, the waves are distant; in a short tea, they are closer and more upright: a cro sea Is composed of waves moving in different directions. [s. 1119]
