The salted roe of the sturgeon, much esteemed by the Ru ians as an article of food, and frequently brought as a delicacy to this country; it is an oily unwholesome article. CAVICORNS, Cavicorn i a. The name of the tribe of Ruminants comprehending those which have the horns hollowed out like a sheath and implanted on bony proce es of the OS front is, as in the antelope.
